Darko Rundek brings surprises again! Frontmen of the cult band Haustor changes groups and associates from time to time, but his creativity does not disappear. On the contrary, for Rundek it can rightfully be said that he is the only one from the legendary Ex-YU rock and roll generation of the 1980s reached its creative peak in the last decade, while its fellow mates mostly live at the expense of old glory and hits.
Concerts in New York, Toronto and Chicago on November 2, 3 and 4 will be an ideal opportunity for his old and new fans to hear all the unforgettable songs from the period of Haustor (“Ena”, “Djevojke u ljetnjim haljinama volim”, “Šejn” “Šal od svile “,”Uzalud pitaš”,” Bi mogo da mogu”,” Sejmeni”,” Bolero”,”Tajni grad”…), but also the best that Rundek created after moving to Paris in the 1990s “Apocalypse”, “Makedo”, “Ruke”, “Crni dusi”, “Ay, Carmela”, “Senjor”, “Indijska”…)
The band that plays is composed of 9 great musicians of different generations, gathered in 2017 under the slogan “Apokalypso Crew” at the 20th anniversary of the album “Apokalypso”, which was named the best rock album on the territory of the former Yugoslavia after the 1990s. Then it should not be surprising that their last year`s solo concert at Tašmajdan, in front of more than 10,000 people, audience and criticism wrapped the title – The best concert of the season! Darko Rundek and his “”Apokalypso Crew” in the past two years were the main attraction of the festivals across the Balkans, and for the American / Canadian tour they have a special program, which they announce as a “nostalgic return to the future”.
See you in the near future, get ready for the Apocalypse, which you will survive and remember for a long time…
Everyone is invited without exception, regardless of religious, ethnic affiliation, color of skin or passport. You are all welcome! ONE LOVE!
